Who is the study for?
This trial is for adults over 18 who speak English and have recently had an IUD inserted. They must have taken NSAIDs before the insertion, signed a consent form, and not be post-partum or allergic to the oils used in the study.Check my eligibility
What is being tested?

Group I: Method 1: Sweet Marjoram Essential Oil + Grapeseed Oil with MassageExperimental Treatment1 Intervention
Subjects randomized will receive dilution of sweet marjoram essential oil (mixed with grapeseed oil), which will be applied topically with massage after IUD insertion.
Group II: Method 2: Grapeseed Oil with MassageActive Control1 Intervention
Subjects randomized will grapeseed oil applied topically with massage after IUD insertion.
Group III: Method 3: Control Group (no oil or massage)Active Control1 Intervention
Subjects will serve as control and no essential oils or massage will be applied.

This trial includes the following eligibility criteria:- I took NSAID as advised before my IUD insertion.You have recently given birth.You are allergic to sweet marjoram essential oil or grapeseed oil.I have broken or irritated skin on my lower abdomen.I have been diagnosed with IBS or IBD.I am 18 years old or older.

This trial has the following groups:- Group 1: Method 2: Grapeseed Oil with Massage
- Group 2: Method 3: Control Group (no oil or massage)
- Group 3: Method 1: Sweet Marjoram Essential Oil + Grapeseed Oil with Massage
