Frequently Asked Questions
Are applications being accepted to participate in this experiment at the present time?
"According to the information posted on clinicaltrials.gov, this medical study is no longer actively recruiting patients, with a last update made on October 26th 2022. Nevertheless, there are 189 other studies that continue to seek participants at present."
Is this trial open to individuals that have surpassed the age of four decades?
"This trial includes participants aged 4 to 6. For patients outside of this age range, there are 97 studies accepting those below 18 years old and 124 for adults above the senior age."
What is the primary purpose of this investigation?
"The chief outcome of this medical trial, to be evaluated over two months using the Acceptability of Intervention Measure (AIM), is overall acceptability. Furthermore, investigators are also analysing a range of secondary objectives; these encompass child literacy skills which will be determined with an investigator-crafted metric, home health routines assessed via descriptive survey, and finally vocabulary proficiency ascertained by another investigator designed tool. All scores are on an ascending scale meaning higher numbers denote better results."
Is it feasible for me to join this medical trial?
"For this medical trial, 32 children aged between 4 and 6 years will be recruited. Furthermore, it is necessary that prospective participants satisfy the following requirements: primary caregiver of a child entering Kindergarten (4-6 years old), Hispanic/Latino/Latinx ethnicity of the carer, Spanish as the native language in their household, agreement to randomization process, cell phone ownership and willingness to receive text messages."
