Study Summary

This trial tests a combination of materials and growth factor to accelerate healing of implants placed in teeth #5-#12. Participants will attend 11 visits over 1.25 years.

Who is the study for?
This trial is for adults aged 18-95 who need an implant in the front upper jaw due to a failing tooth, have good oral hygiene, and a small bone defect after tooth removal. It's not for those with severe untreated gum disease, serious health conditions, pregnant women, patients on long-term meds affecting bones, history of head/neck radiation or heavy smokers.Check my eligibility
What is being tested?
The study tests if adding growth factor-BB to a collagen graft helps blood vessel formation and tissue volume around dental implants placed right after tooth extraction. Participants will receive this treatment and attend 11 visits over about 15 months.See study design
What are the potential side effects?
Potential side effects may include discomfort at the implant site, swelling, bruising or bleeding gums. There might also be risks related to the use of growth factors such as excessive tissue growth.
