- You are on a waiting list for a knee replacement surgery and do not have a surgery date within the next three months from the start of the study. You have consulted with an orthopedic surgeon and accepted the offer for a knee replacement surgery. You must be at least 45 years old and have a pain score of 5 or higher.
- Group 1: Electroacupuncture
- Group 2: Sham acupuncture
- Group 3: Waitlist
- Screening: It may take up to 3 Weeks to process to see if you qualify in this trial.
- Treatment: The duration you will receive the treatment varies.
- Follow Ups: You may be asked to continue sharing information regarding the trial for 6 Months after you stop receiving the treatment.
