Frequently Asked Questions
What requirements must potential participants fulfill to be part of this research?
"This research endeavor is open to 80 minors with chronic pain of moderate or severe intensity that has persisted for at least three months. Subject eligibility also requires a referral to the PPRC and age between 8-18 years old."
What are the main goals of this clinical investigation?
"The purpose of this investigation, which will be evaluated 1 year after discharge from PPRC, is to assess the Functional Disability Inventory total score. Other metrics include Chronic pain Acceptance Questionnaire's aggregate mark (ranging 0-120; higher values imply more pain tolerance), Committed Action Questionnaire's overall rating and a corresponding 8 item questionnaire with scores ranging between 0-48 where greater numbers signify an increased level of willingness to take action."
Is the enrolment process for this experiment still open?
"According to the clinicaltrials.gov website, this experiment is not currently recruiting patients despite its initial posting on June 15th 2020 and most recent amendment made October 13th 2022. Fortunately, 403 other trials are presently accepting participants for enrollment into their studies."
Does this experimentation accept participants aged seventy or above?
"This trial is for minors aged 8 to 18 years old. 33 studies are available for this age group, while 362 studies are designed for those over 65."
