This trial is testing a behavioral exercise intervention to help lung transplant recipients learn and practice exercises to improve their condition and adopt an active lifestyle.

Who is the study for?

This trial is for adults over 18 who've had a lung transplant at least 4 weeks ago, can't walk a quarter mile or climb ten steps without resting, and have been discharged from the hospital. They must be medically cleared to exercise but not already in an exercise program. A smart device with internet is required.Check my eligibility

Group I: LTGO-Home Based ExerciseExperimental Treatment1 Intervention

The lung transplant recipient will receive LTGO- Home Based Exercise, a behavioral exercise intervention that consists of in-home exercise training integrated with behavioral coaching using tele-rehabilitation.

Group II: Enhanced Usual CareActive Control1 Intervention

Enhanced Usual Care (EUC) will involve delivery of monthly newsletters (6 newsletters) on the topics of post-lung transplant management, including food safety, environmental health, flu, mental health, etc. and the provision of a self-monitoring device.
