Who is running the clinical trial?

- You have smoked cigarettes or cigars for at least one year.Women caregivers who are African American.The child uses any form of tobacco.You do not use tobacco products.Women who live outside the counties where the study is taking place.
- Group 1: Control
- Group 2: Behavioral Treatment
- No Placebo-Only Group - All patients enrolled in this study will receive some form of active treatment.
- Screening: It may take up to 3 Weeks to process to see if you qualify in this trial.
- Treatment: The duration you will receive the treatment varies.
- Follow Ups: You may be asked to continue sharing information regarding the trial for 6 Months after you stop receiving the treatment.

"This study is looking for 200 people who have a history of tobacco use and meet the following criteria: Must be between 18-50 years old, smoked cigarettes and/or cigars for at least 1 year, African American women caregivers, Aged 18-50, Primary caregivers of at least one child in the home aged 6 months-14 (birth parent, guardian), Primary decision-maker in the AR home, English speaking, Can provide written informed consent, Working phone and home address, Low income as defined by any indicator (e.g., Medicaid; Earned Income Tax Credit; Children's Health Insurance Plan [ARKids];"
Is this clinical trial only open to people who are over 60 years old?
"This particular study only enrolls individuals between the ages of 18-50. However, there are 15 separate trials for patients that are under 18 and 39 different clinical trials for adults over the age 65."
