- I haven't been around tobacco smoke for at least a week.You cannot participate if you are breastfeeding or have any other conditions that the study team considers unsafe.I have never used tobacco products or nicotine delivery systems.My BMI is between 18 and 30.I don't have heart or lung disease.I am not taking any prescription medications.Your heart rate should be below 100 beats per minute when you are at rest.I am between 21 and 49 years old.
- Group 1: Exposure to Clean Air
- Group 2: Exposure to Combustible Hookah Smoke
- Group 3: Exposure to Electronic Hookah Aerosol
- No Placebo-Only Group - All patients enrolled in this study will receive some form of active treatment.
- Screening: It may take up to 3 Weeks to process to see if you qualify in this trial.
- Treatment: The duration you will receive the treatment varies.
- Follow Ups: You may be asked to continue sharing information regarding the trial for 6 Months after you stop receiving the treatment.

Who would be an optimal candidate for this clinical trial?
"This medical trial is looking to recruit a dozen individuals aged 21-49 who partake in waterpipe smoking. To be eligible, participants must possess no prior history of tobacco use and not have been exposed to environmental tobacco smoke for at least one week leading up to the study date. Furthermore, they should not suffer from cardiopulmonary disease or take any prescription medications. Eligible candidates will also need to show that their blood pressure is below 140/90 mmHg and resting heart rate measures <100 bpm with BMI >18 or <- 30kg•m2"
