This trial will compare the effects of a lifestyle intervention with financial coaching vs. lifestyle intervention alone on weight and metabolic health.

Who is the study for?
This trial is for English-speaking parents with a BMI over 25, who have a child in the Brighter Bites program and own a compatible smartphone. They must be able to participate in study activities. It's not for those with conditions like Cushing's syndrome or hypothyroidism, current pregnancy, eating disorders, or on medications affecting body composition.Check my eligibility

The study compares two approaches to weight loss: one group receives financial coaching plus lifestyle changes through Noom app and Brighter Bites food program; the other only gets the lifestyle intervention via Noom and Brighter Bites without financial coaching.See study design
