Study Summary
This trial will further investigate imaging findings of possible sacroiliitis in Crohn's Disease patients by recalling subjects who had findings of possible sacroiliitis on prior MRE and assess the natural history and outcome of these cases.
Who is the study for?
This trial is for adults over 18 with Crohn's Disease who've had signs of sacroiliitis on earlier MRI scans between 2014 and 2018. They must know their HLA-B27 status and have recent ESR and CRP test results. It's not for critically ill or pregnant patients, those who can't follow the study plan, have had cancer (except certain skin cancers) in the last five years, speak only non-English, or can't have an MRI.Check my eligibility
What is being tested?
The study is looking at how sacroiliitis develops in people with Crohn's Disease by recalling patients who showed possible sacroiliitis on previous MRIs. Participants will undergo standard MRI and x-ray imaging of their sacroiliac joints to track changes over time.See study design
What are the potential side effects?
Since this trial involves standard MRI scans and x-rays, side effects are minimal but may include discomfort from lying still during the scan or a very low risk of reaction to contrast materials if used.

These subjects will then undergo T1 and STIR sequence MRI of SI joints (pelvis MRI) as well as SIJ plain X-ray for assessment of radiographic sacroiliitis.
