This trial is for healthy men and women aged 25-55 who can understand and follow the study's requirements. They must not have any cognitive impairments, cardiovascular, neurological, gastrointestinal, kidney or liver diseases, metabolic disorders like diabetes, cancer history or current treatment with chemotherapy/radiation. Pregnant or breastfeeding individuals and those on medications affecting digestion or with a history of substance abuse are excluded.Check my eligibility
What is being tested?
The study tests if Mirtoselect® (bilberry extract), Virtiva® Plus (ginkgo biloba extract), Enovita® (grape seed extract), or a placebo can improve cognitive performance and mood over four weeks. Group I: Virtiva Dietary SupplementExperimental Treatment1 Intervention
One dose (1 capsule) will be consumed twice daily for 28 days. A single dose contains: 240mg Ginkgo biloba extract (leaf), 28.8mg 12% phosphatidylserine (from sunflower), and 12mg 5% ginkgo flavonglycosides.
Group II: Mirtoselect Dietary SupplementExperimental Treatment1 Intervention
One dose (1 capsule) will be consumed twice daily for 28 days. A single dose contains: 160mg bilberry extract (Vaccinium myrtillus L.) and 57.6mg 36% anthocyanosides.
Group III: Enovita Dietary SupplementExperimental Treatment1 Intervention
One dose (1 capsule) will be consumed twice daily for 28 days. A single dose contains: 150mg grape seed extract (Vitis vinifera L) and dried seed (cultivated), and 27.50mg 95% polyphenols.
Group IV: PlaceboPlacebo Group1 Intervention
One dose (1 capsule) will be consumed twice daily for 28 days. The placebo product will be rice flour (other ingredients: hypromellose, magnesium stearate and chlorophyll). Its appearance will be green/green oblong veggie capsule with white to off-white powder fill.
