FIRE-Diet-P Trial Summary

"This trial aims to study how a diet rich in fish, fruits, and vegetables can help reduce inflammation and oxidative stress in the body. Participants will receive food, meals, and counseling to increase their intake

Who is the study for?
This trial is for healthy individuals who don't have significant health issues like respiratory, heart, or metabolic disorders. Participants should not be taking dietary supplements unless they can stop a month before and during the study. They also shouldn't be on medications that affect diet composition or eating more than 2 servings of fish per week and 5 servings of fruits/vegetables daily.Check my eligibility
What is being tested?
The study is testing whether increasing intake of EPA, DHA (components found in fish), fruits, and vegetables can reduce inflammation and protect against air pollution effects. Participants will receive meals and counseling to help them eat more fish, fruits, and veggies while their experiences are monitored for optimization.See study design
What are the potential side effects?
Since this trial involves dietary changes with increased consumption of fish, fruits, and vegetables rather than medication or medical procedures, side effects are expected to be minimal if any but may include digestive adjustments as the body adapts to the new diet.
