This trial studies how well a cavity-fighting medicine works in children, and looks at its effects in the body over time.

Who is the study for?
This trial is for healthy children aged 13 months to 13 years who live close to the study site and have at least one untreated cavity. Kids with mouth sores, allergies to silver or fluoride, or recent SDF treatments can't join.Check my eligibility
What is being tested?
The study tests how a tooth decay treatment called Advantage Arrest (38% silver diamine fluoride) behaves in kids' bodies. After treating cavities, researchers will check blood levels of the drug at different times.See study design
What are the potential side effects?
Possible side effects may include temporary staining of teeth or skin where applied, mild irritation around the treated area, and very rarely an allergic reaction due to sensitivity to silver or fluoride.
