Study Summary

This trial explores if technology can help treat depression for pregnant women in collaboration with their health care provider.

Who is the study for?
This trial is for English-speaking adults over 18 who are currently pregnant or within 3 months post-delivery, experiencing moderate to severe perinatal depression, and have been referred for mental health care. Participants must own and use a smartphone. Those with severe suicidality or who have had a recent pregnancy loss cannot join.Check my eligibility
What is being tested?
The study is testing IntelliCare and COMPASS-Care services designed to help manage depression during and after pregnancy using technology. The effectiveness of these Technology Enabled Services will be evaluated in an obstetrics clinic setting.See study design
What are the potential side effects?
As this trial involves non-pharmaceutical interventions focusing on technology-enabled services, traditional medication side effects are not applicable. However, participants may experience discomfort or emotional distress when discussing personal issues.
