Study Summary

This trial will develop and test a mobile app to improve adherence to endocrine hormonal therapy (EHT) among breast cancer patients. The app will be personalized and interactive, and will be used in combination with patient navigation.

Who is the study for?
This trial is for English and Spanish speaking adults over 18 with hormone receptor-positive breast cancer who are prescribed EHT. Participants must be able to consent, own a cell phone, send/receive texts, and access the internet. It excludes those without smartphones or unable to understand consent due to disabilities.Check my eligibility
What is being tested?
The study tests if a bilingual mobile app combined with patient navigation can help breast cancer patients stick to their endocrine hormonal therapy (EHT). The goal is to see if this approach lowers the risk of recurrence by improving medication adherence.See study design
What are the potential side effects?
Since this trial focuses on an educational tool rather than a medical treatment, there are no direct side effects from drugs being tested. However, participants may experience stress or anxiety related to technology use or managing their treatment regimen.
