- You have only one tumor or abnormal spot.You have tried non-surgical treatments like rest, limited activity, and immobilization for 3 months, but they haven't improved your condition.Your broken bone can be fixed with surgery called ORIF, which stands for Open Reduction and Internal Fixation.You are experiencing symptoms such as pain, difficulty moving or reduced range of motion.You have had previous damage to the ankle joint.You have arthritis caused by inflammation.You have a broken bone.You have not had surgery on your ankle before.You had surgery on your ankle before for the current injury, including arthroscopy.
- Group 1: Immediate Weight-Bearing as Tolerated
- Group 2: Non-Weight Bearing x 6 weeks
- No Placebo-Only Group - All patients enrolled in this study will receive some form of active treatment.
- Screening: It may take up to 3 Weeks to process to see if you qualify in this trial.
- Treatment: The duration you will receive the treatment varies.
- Follow Ups: You may be asked to continue sharing information regarding the trial for 6 Months after you stop receiving the treatment.
