AIMS Trial Summary

This trial will test a new program to see if it helps people with HIV fill their prescriptions for antiretroviral therapy, and if it improves their health.

Who is the study for?
This trial is for HIV-positive adults aged 19-63 who are on Virginia Medicaid but not Medicare. They must have a primary HIV provider, be continuously enrolled in Medicaid for the past year, and either have late ART prescription refills or no history of ART prescriptions.Check my eligibility
What is being tested?
The study tests a new program's impact on how often patients with HIV fill their antiretroviral therapy (ART) prescriptions and if it improves their health outcomes. It involves both patients and healthcare providers.See study design
What are the potential side effects?
Since this trial focuses on improving prescription refill rates rather than testing new medications, side effects are not the main concern; however, typical ART-related side effects may still occur.
