- I have not been hospitalized or diagnosed with a mental illness in the last 2 years.I have mild depression according to the PHQ-9 test.I am over 18 and the main caregiver for a family member with dementia living at home.I am over 18 and the main caregiver for a family member with dementia living at home.I am currently taking medication for psychosis or seizures.I do not have any issues that would prevent me from participating in the study.I am considering placing a family member in a nursing home soon.You need to have a computer or a smartphone with internet access at home.
- Group 1: Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) group
- Group 2: Psychoeducation control group
- Screening: It may take up to 3 Weeks to process to see if you qualify in this trial.
- Treatment: The duration you will receive the treatment varies.
- Follow Ups: You may be asked to continue sharing information regarding the trial for 6 Months after you stop receiving the treatment.
