Study Summary

This trial will test different ways to make it easier for Black and Latino/Hispanic people to get COVID-19 tests, with the goal of reducing the spread of the virus in these communities.

Who is the study for?
This trial is for Black and Latino/Hispanic frontline workers aged 18-70 in lower status essential jobs in NYC. Participants must speak English or Spanish, have a phone for texts, not vaccinated or COVID-tested recently, and haven't had COVID symptoms or treatments like monoclonal antibodies within specific time frames.Check my eligibility
What is being tested?
The study tests four strategies to increase COVID-19 testing: motivational interviews, text messages with quizzes, peer education, and easy test access. The goal is to find the best combination of these methods that can be quickly used widely among frontline workers.See study design
What are the potential side effects?
Since this trial focuses on non-medical interventions like counseling and educational materials rather than drugs or medical procedures, there are no direct physical side effects expected from participation.
