Study Summary
This trial is testing a mobile app intervention for teens with eating disorders who are not currently receiving treatment. - You have an undiagnosed or diagnosed eating disorder, except for anorexia nervosa, or are at high risk for developing one.You are currently receiving treatment for an eating disorder.You have an iOS or Android smartphone that you can use every day.
- Group 1: Experimental Group B- Mobile App Only
- Group 2: Control Group
- Group 3: Experimental Group A- Mobile App with Social Networking Feature
- No Placebo-Only Group - All patients enrolled in this study will receive some form of active treatment.
- Screening: It may take up to 3 Weeks to process to see if you qualify in this trial.
- Treatment: The duration you will receive the treatment varies.
- Follow Ups: You may be asked to continue sharing information regarding the trial for 6 Months after you stop receiving the treatment.

"For this study, 161 participants between ages 14 and 17 with a diagnosed or high-risk eating disorder are needed. To be considered for the trial, they must own/have regular access to an iOS/Android smartphone, live in the US, speak English fluently, and screen positive for DSM-5 subclinical/clinical conditions excluding Anorexia Nervosa (AN)."
