Who is the study for?
This trial is for female breast cancer survivors who are experiencing frequent hot flashes (at least 14 per week) and have been doing so for over a month. They should be on stable antihormonal therapy if any, not undergoing chemotherapy, and without psychiatric conditions that affect study participation.Check my eligibility
What is being tested?
The trial is examining the effectiveness of hypnosis in reducing hot flashes among breast cancer survivors. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive hypnosis with the goal of seeing if it helps manage their symptoms.See study design
What are the potential side effects?
Hypnosis is generally considered safe but may cause temporary dizziness, anxiety, or disorientation immediately after the session. Long-term side effects are rare when performed by a trained professional.

Eligibility Criteria:
This trial includes the following eligibility criteria:- We don't know if you have gone through menopause or not.I have a history of cancer.I have been on hormone therapy for breast cancer for at least 1 month.I haven't had any cancer, except for skin cancer, in the last 5 years.My cancer cannot be seen on scans.I am not on any other hormonal treatments.I haven't taken any treatments for hot flashes in the last month.I am not receiving any other treatments for hot flashes.I am not currently on any strong cancer-killing drugs.I am not currently using hypnosis for any reason.I am female.I have experienced at least 14 hot flashes per week for over a month.My cancer's hormone receptor status is not determined.I have had a condition where my lymphocytes grow abnormally.I have had more than 14 hot flashes a week for at least a month.I am not currently admitted to a hospital.I had breast cancer but now show no signs of the disease.
