Effectiveness
How Androderm Affects Patients
Testosterone is a hormone that helps develop male sex organs and secondary sexual characteristics. Its effects vary from person to person, but generally last between 10-100 minutes. A typical adult man will have a testosterone level of 300-1000ng/dL, which is considered safe. It is important to note that children who come into contact with testosterone products may also experience its effects, so caution should be used when applying.
How Androderm works in the body
The androgen receptor helps the body develop masculine characteristics. It binds to testosterone and other hormones, which are carried into the nucleus of cells. Here, these hormones interact with DNA and other regulators to activate certain genes. This process is responsible for sexual development, including the growth of the prostate, penis, and scrotum. Testosterone also causes secondary sexual characteristics like facial and body hair, a deeper voice, and changes in muscle and fat distribution.
When to interrupt dosage
The measure of Androderm is dependent upon the indicated illness, such as Gonadotrophin releasing hormone deficiency, Orchidectomy and Orchitis. The dosage amount depends on the administration approach delineated in the table beneath.
