How Vasocon Affects PatientsNaphazoline is a drug that helps to reduce congestion when applied to the nose or eyes. It works by narrowing the blood vessels in these areas, thus reducing swelling and pressure.
How Vasocon works in the bodyNaphazoline is a drug that shrinks blood vessels to reduce congestion. It does this by making nerve cells release a chemical called norepinephrine. Norepinephrine binds to receptors on the walls of blood vessels and causes them to get smaller. Naphazoline can also cause blood vessels to expand back to their original size after the effects wear off. When used for a long time, naphazoline can cause the body to become dependent on it, leading to rhinitis medicamentosa when it is stopped.
When to interrupt dosage
The proposed dosage of Vasocon is contingent upon the recognized condition, for instance Eye Pain, Sinusitis and tetracycline. The amount of dosage fluctuates in connection with the technique of delivery (e.g. Solution / drops or Liquid - Ophthalmic) specified in the table beneath.Condition

Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should consider the risks and benefits before using naphazoline.
