How Upneeq Affects PatientsOxymetazoline is a type of drug that works by narrowing the blood vessels and reducing blood flow. It is particularly effective at stimulating two types of adrenergic receptors, the α1- and α2-adrenergic receptors. This drug can be used to relieve nasal congestion and improve airflow in the nose, with effects lasting up to 12 hours.
