Coreg Reviews: What are patients saying about Coreg?

Coreg for High Blood Pressure
I began taking Coreg at age 58-59. I was prescribed 12.5 mg twice a day, but experienced some side effects in the form of tiredness. This problem was resolved by taking a 20 mg time-released prescription. It's important to note that I only use brand name Coreg; thegeneric version may not be as effective. I also take lisinipril (generic) and an old generic water pill for my blood pressure. The water pill is a big problem because it makes me have to drink more water and avoid salt, but it does bring my blood pressure down well.

Coreg for Chronic Heart Failure
Coreg has been a lifesaver for me since I was diagnosed with heart failure post chemotherapy. My dose is low, at 6.25 mg twice a day, but it keeps my blood pressure in check and has helped me manage my symptoms effectively.

Coreg for Chronic Heart Failure
Though there are some not-so-fun side effects that come with this treatment, they pale in comparison to how well it's worked for me. I was diagnosed in 2003 and am still going strong!

Coreg for High Blood Pressure
After taking Carvedilol for 9 years, I have now been diagnosed with stage 3 kidney disease. I believe it is this medication that has caused this medical problem. My nephologist has cut my pills from two per day to 1/2 twice a day. I want off of Carvedilol as it has ruined my life.

Coreg for High Blood Pressure
I have only taken carvedilol for 3 days and I have my head and chest pound when I get up or it is near time for the next dose. I have had a non-stop headache, nausea and a metallic taste in my mouth. I will give it til Friday for improvement. If none I will talk to my doctor about changing.

Coreg for High Blood Pressure
Just a week in and I am already feeling the adverse effects of this medication. I'm exhausted, my mouth is blistered and swollen, and my head hurts. My pupils are so dilated that it's hard to see. I also have no control over my bladder and I'm sore all over. This has been miserable.

I experienced intense exhaustion, swelling of legs, and extreme difficulty breathing while on this medication. I also lost sleep due to my breathing difficulties, which led to body pain and depression. My thinking was also very unclear, and I felt anxious all the time. This drug was a nightmare for me.

Coreg for High Blood Pressure
After only taking this medication for three days, my blood pressure spiked to an incredibly dangerous level. I had to go to the ER and get a bunch of tests done. The only conclusion was that I shouldn't take this drug again, and I definitely won't be.
