7/30/2014 I've had no issues with 8mg of this medication. I'm really pleased with it. However, my blood pressure jumped after two surgeries, so my doctor added Bystolic. I haven't been a fan of the new medication so far and have been having weird chest pains. Hopefully after I recover from surgery I can go back to just taking Atacand.

4/8/2016 I'm disappointed that the generic brand of candesartan is unavailable at most stores. The brand name is significantly more expensive, especially when we have to purchase it through mail order. Does anyone know what's causing this problem?

12/31/2018 I've been on Atacand for three months and have noticed some troubling side effects. I get tired more easily and my hair has started thinning out. Additionally, I've developed pain in my chest and blocked ear canals. That said, the medication has successfully lowered by blood pressure.
