7/30/2014 I've had no issues with 8mg of this medication. I'm really pleased with it. However, my blood pressure jumped after two surgeries, so my doctor added Bystolic. I haven't been a fan of the new medication so far and have been having weird chest pains. Hopefully after I recover from surgery I can go back to just taking Atacand.

7/21/2013 I've only been taking Atacand for three months, and I've already started noticing joint pain in my hands. I don't know if it's the drug or not, but it has been effective in getting my blood pressure back to where it should be. I'm a little worried after reading other comments that users may have obtained liver & kidney damage due to this medication, so I'll be speaking to my GP about this when I see him next month for a follow up visit.
