Acetasol for Outer Ear Inflammation caused by Allergy or Infection
I believe that this drug, which is a mix of vinegar and hydrocortisone, is being overcharged for. I've seen it work well in the past, but there are other options like floxin or ciprodex that might be worth checking out instead.

I've been using this for six months to try and combat my eczema, but it only provides temporary relief. Each time the itchiness and skin scaling goes away for about a week before coming back stronger than before. Not happy with this medication at all.

Acetasol for Inflammation of the External Ear Resembling Eczema
My husband was given this prescription in April and we paid $25 for it. The company Activas has since boosted the price to $270. Outrageous. Called the doctor who said try vinegar and hydrocortisone. This is complete abuse of the regulatory system. Ask your doctor for another solution.

Acetasol for Inflammation of the External Ear Resembling Eczema
I was very displeased to find that the price of this prescription has risen from $25 to an outrageous $270. When I called the doctor, they suggested using vinegar and hydrocortisone instead. If you can, avoid this product entirely and ask your doctor for a different solution; don't support Activas's predatory behavior by buying their overpriced medication.
