Effectiveness

How Previfem Affects PatientsEthinylestradiol is a synthetic form of estrogen that helps stop ovulation and can reduce the growth of the lining of the uterus. This drug usually only needs to be taken once daily, and it is considered to be very safe even with an overdose. However, patients should be aware of the potential risks of developing blood clots while taking this drug.
How Previfem works in the bodyEthinylestradiol is a synthetic version of the female hormone estrogen. Taking ethinylestradiol can reduce bone density and stop ovulation. It does this by reducing the levels of hormones needed for ovulation, thickening the cervical mucus to block sperm, and stopping changes in the endometrium that are necessary for pregnancy. It also lowers luteinizing hormone and increases sex hormone binding globulin.

When to interrupt dosage

The suggested dosage of Previfem is contingent upon the diagnosed disorder, such as Acne Vulgaris, Hormonal Contraception and Folate supplementation therapy. The quantity of dosage is contingent upon the technique of delivery as detailed in the table below.

Previfem for Birth Control
I've been taking Previfem for about 7 months and have had great results. I didn't experience any side effects after the initial adjustment period, and I've actually found that my periods are lighter and shorter now. Highly recommend!

Previfem for Birth Control
I've been using Previfem for three months now. The good: my periods have gone from seven days to five. The bad: I felt slightly nauseous after taking the pill during the first two months, but that has since subsided. All in all, it's a great birth control pill!

Previfem for Abnormally Long or Heavy Periods
I had no problems while taking this for years. However, I did notice that when my pharmacy substituted it for Sprintec, I experienced major leg cramps and pain. They are nearly identical, but Previfem is much better in my opinion.

Previfem for Endometriosis
I've been using this pill for two years now and it has really changed my life. I used to throw up and have unbearable pain during my periods, which would last up to two weeks. This pill has helped with all of that and my skin is now flawless. I haven't had any negative side effects, either.

Previfem for Absence of Menstrual Periods

Previfem for Painful Periods
I gave this pill a fair chance, but had to stop taking it after six weeks due to the severe mood side effects. I was constantly irritable, depressed, and experienced extreme swings in my mood. Additionally, my libido disappeared entirely. The first few weeks I also felt nauseous every day, but that eventually went away. Though the pill itself was effective, the side effects were not worth it and so I switched pills.

Previfem for Birth Control
I've been on this medication for four months now, and I'm starting to feel really uncomfortable. I'm nauseous more often than not, and I feel bloated all the time. Even if I stick to a strict diet, I can't seem to lose any weight. I think I'm going to switch medications next month.

Previfem for Endometriosis
I was taking this medication for my endometriosis, but by the eighth day I became very dizzy all the time. I continued to take them for 15 days total before I could no longer function due to being dizzy no matter what I did. So I called and had my Dr change my birth control; so far it's been three days and the dizziness seems to be subsiding.
