Effectiveness

How Phrenilin Forte Affects PatientsResearch on animals and humans has shown that acetaminophen is effective for reducing fever and pain. It does not have anti-inflammatory effects like other drugs, and won't cause problems with uric acid levels or acid-base balance when taken as directed. Acetaminophen also has no effect on blood clotting, and allergic reactions after taking it are uncommon.
How Phrenilin Forte works in the bodyAcetaminophen relieves pain by interfering with the production of prostaglandins, chemicals that can cause pain. It does this by targeting two types of cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes, COX-1 and COX-2. Acetaminophen has no anti-inflammatory effects on its own, but studies suggest it may block a third type of COX enzyme, called COX-3. Acetaminophen also has antipyretic actions, which means it lowers fever by affecting the temperature control center in the brain. The exact way acetaminophen works is still unclear, but further research

Phrenilin Forte Toxicity & Overdose RiskAcetaminophen is toxic if taken in too high of a dose. Signs of overdose include kidney damage, low blood sugar, low platelet count, and liver damage which can lead to death or the need for a liver transplant. NAPQI, a toxic metabolite of acetaminophen, is responsible for the toxic effects of the drug. Long-term studies in mice and rats have not shown any signs of cancer, but the drug can cause mutations at high doses. Acetaminophen has not been shown to affect fertility or cause any adverse effects in pregnant or nursing women, although it is advised to use caution when taking
