Effectiveness

How Pimtrea Affects PatientsEthinylestradiol is a synthetic form of the female hormone estrogen. It works by reducing the amount of luteinizing hormone and gonadotrophic hormone in the body, which stops ovulation and makes it more difficult for a fertilized egg to attach to the uterus. It is taken once a day and is considered a safe drug, although there is still a risk of developing thrombotic events.
How Pimtrea works in the bodyEthinylestradiol is a synthetic estrogen. It affects the body by reducing bone density, suppressing ovulation, and thickening cervical mucus. It also stops the endometrium from changing so a fertilized egg cannot attach itself. Ethinylestradiol decreases luteinizing hormone to reduce blood flow in the endometrium, and increases sex hormone binding globulin.

The advised measure of Pimtrea is contingent upon the diagnosed condition, such as Acne Vulgaris, Hormonal Contraception and Folate supplementation therapy. The amount of dosage fluctuates, as per the administration system outlined in the table below.

Pimtrea for Birth Control
I started using this birth control shortly before my 20th birthday and have been extremely pleased with it. My periods are lighter and I haven't fainted or had cramps since being on the pill. I also haven't gained weight, which is a huge plus.

Pimtrea for Birth Control
So far, so good with this prescription. I didn't experience any negative side effects, which is what I expected given that it's essentially the same drug as my previous one (just with a different name and appearance).

Pimtrea for Birth Control
My doctor prescribed this because I had taken a birth control in the past that made me experience severe breakthrough bleeding and I simply can not handle that. Also, worried about gaining weight. So far, I have been pretty satisfied - I have had an increase in discharge and it can be slightly pink tinted in nature but I'll deal with that over bleeding any day. I might be slightly more moody but overall, very pleased.

Pimtrea for Birth Control
I switched to Pimtrea from Kariva about a month ago, and I haven't been pleased. My period has been going on for four weeks now with no sign of stopping. My acne has gotten worse, I feel bloated, and I've gained weight around my stomach. The bleeding is pretty heavy too. I start my second pack in 2 days, so hopefully it will get better or else I'll have to switch birth controls again.

Pimtrea for Disease of Ovaries with Cysts
I was given this as a replacement for Kariva 1 1/2 weeks ago. For me, this is not an acceptable switch. My vision has been blurry, my blood pressure has gone up, I have had severe bloating, breakthrough bleeding, and numerous panic attacks. I called my pharmacy to get it replaced immediately and to make sure they never give me this again.

Pimtrea for Painful Periods
I've been taking Pimtrea for a few months now and I can say that it's given me nothing but problems. From the side effects, to increased acne, to an unsightly rash on my chest - this drug has done nothing but harm me. I'm switching to another brand of birth control as soon as possible.
