How Nasalcrom Affects PatientsCromoglicate, or cromolyn, helps reduce bronchospasms (sudden constricting of the airways) triggered by allergens and is used to treat asthma and allergic rhinitis. It also comes as an eye drop to treat conjunctivitis, and can be taken by mouth to treat systemic mastocytosis and ulcerative colitis.
How Nasalcrom works in the bodyCromoglicate stops mast cells from releasing histamine and other substances that cause allergic reactions. It may do this by stopping calcium from entering the cells.
When to interrupt dosage
The endorsed dosage of Nasalcrom is contingent upon the diagnosed condition, such as Urticaria Pigmentosa, Exercise-Induced Bronchospasm and Conjunctivitis, Vernal. 9/29/2014 Nasalcrom is really the best allergy medication, by far. It's a shame that doctors don't seem to prescribe it more often because other drugs companies are paying them to push their own products.

6/12/2014 I used to have to get weekly allergy injections for years, but they eventually stopped being effective. I've tried a lot of different treatments since then, and Nasalcrom is by far the best. It's non-habit forming and doesn't cause rebound congestion, which are both big pluses in my book.
