Effectiveness

How Femhrt Affects PatientsNorethisterone is a type of medication taken orally that can be used as a form of birth control or to treat other hormone-related issues such as menopausal symptoms or endometriosis. It works similarly to natural progesterone, but with a much greater effect. It affects the cervix and endometrium, and can also influence pituitary hormones that are part of the ovulation process. Taking norethisterone does slightly increase the risk of developing breast cancer, so it is important to be aware of this before taking the medication and to perform regular breast self-exams to check for any developing masses
How Femhrt works in the bodyNorethisterone works by blocking sperm from entering the uterus, making it harder for a fertilized egg to implant. It also suppresses hormones from the pituitary gland that help eggs develop and be released. When used as part of hormone replacement therapy, norethisterone helps protect against endometrial cancer by preventing the growth of the endometrium. Although it has a low affinity for other steroid receptors, it is believed to have a slight effect on androgen receptors, which can cause side effects like acne and changes in blood lipids.

Femhrt for "Change of Life" Signs
I've been on this medication for two months to help with hot flashes and night sweats. After the first week, I already felt so much better! I did have some vaginal bleeding for a couple of weeks, but when I told my doctor about it, they said it was a normal side effect. This treatment has made me feel like a normal woman again!

Femhrt worked great for me when I started having hot flashes and night sweats. My doctor did warn me that long-term use could lead to cancer, so after six months I stopped. But in the meantime it was a total lifesaver.

Femhrt has been working great for me. I was experiencing 20 or more hot flashes every day, and now I'm down to just one to three per day. They're also not as severe as they were before I started taking the medication. It did take a little while to start working, but I'm feeling normal again.

This medication was extremely effective for me; it completely stopped my menopause symptoms. However, now I'm experiencing some bleeding and will have to go back to the doctor. I hope she doesn't take me off the medication, as it's the only thing that has worked so far.
