Effectiveness
How Cetraxal Affects PatientsCiprofloxacin is a type of antibiotic that can fight many types of bacteria, both good and bad. It works by blocking certain enzymes in the bacteria, and it cannot be resisted by other antibiotics. It is also being looked into to see if it can be used to treat malaria, cancer, and AIDS.
How Cetraxal works in the bodyCiprofloxacin stops bacteria from copying their DNA. It does this by targeting the alpha subunits of a protein called DNA gyrase. This prevents DNA gyrase from winding the bacterial DNA, which is necessary for the bacteria to replicate.
When to interrupt dosage
The dose of Cetraxal is contingent upon the diagnosed condition, including Proteus mirabilis, Conjunctivitis and Cystitis. The measure of dosage shifts, in line with the system of delivery (e.g. Kit; Powder, for suspension - Oral or Kit; Suspension) recorded in the table below.Condition

Cetraxal Toxicity & Overdose RiskTaking too much ciprofloxacin may cause nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, kidney damage, and reduced urine production. Severe cases may require dialysis or prednisone therapy. When given during pregnancy or breastfeeding, ciprofloxacin is not likely to cause harm, but high doses may lead to the mother having an abortion. Tests of ciprofloxacin mutagenicity have yielded mixed results, with some showing positive results and others showing no effects. In rats and mice, doses up to 300 times the recommended clinical dose have not been linked to cancer or tumors and have not affected fertility
