Effectiveness

How Cambia Affects PatientsDiclofenac is a drug that reduces inflammation and associated pain, as well as fever. However, it can also increase the risk of developing an ulcer in the stomach, due to its effects on the production of protective mucus.
How Cambia works in the bodyDiclofenac works by blocking the production of molecules called prostaglandins. These molecules are involved in pain and inflammation. They activate pathways in the body that increase nerve sensitivity and make blood vessels wider, which can lead to inflammation. Diclofenac prevents the production of these molecules, reducing the effects of inflammation and pain. It also stops white blood cells from flowing to sites of inflammation. In addition, diclofenac can reduce fever by blocking the production of prostaglandins in the brain.

When to interrupt dosage

The measure of Cambia is contingent upon the diagnosed malady, including Joint Pain, Postoperative Inflammatory Response and Osteoarthritis (OA). The magnitude of dosage is dependent on the manner of application (e.g. Cream; Kit; Solution or Kit; Oil; Solution / drops) enumerated in the following table.

Cambia for Migraine Headache
I found this treatment totally ineffective for migraines, which is a shame because it seems like it would be perfect for that purpose. Additionally, the aspartame really upset my stomach.

Cambia for Migraine Headache
I've suffered from migraines for 35 years and was prescribed this treatment by my neurologist. I wasn't hopeful it would work since it's just an anti-inflammatory, but I'm glad to report that it does work relatively quickly. I've used it four times now and each time it has helped catch the headache early on. The only downside is that it tastes terrible (mint and licorice) and you have to mix it with water, which is a pain.

Cambia for Migraine Headache
This medication is incredibly effective at treating migraines. Within 15 minutes of taking it, my headache was completely gone and I could carry on with my day as normal.

Cambia for Migraine Headache
Cambia has been great for me in terms of treating migraines with auras. I take it at the first sign and it prevents the pressure headaches and grogginess that would normally come afterwards.

Cambia for Migraine Headache
The main thing to know about this drug is that you have to take it as soon as you feel a migraine coming on. If you wait too long, it won't work. Some downsides are that it's not easy to take if you're not at home, since you need water to mix it and wash it down. Also, the taste is really bad--like wintergreen mixed with black licorice. And it's expensive.

Cambia for Migraine Headache
This is the only drug that works in minutes. It's truly a life saver for me, and I never leave home without a packet. The only downside is the cost.

Cambia for Migraine Headache
No complaints here! This medication really does work, and I haven't experienced any negative side effects. The only drawback is that sometimes I forget to take it as early as I should.

Cambia for Migraine Headache
My neurologist sends my prescriptions for this out of state because it's cheaper, he says. However, since I retired and changed insurance companies, my co-pay went from $20 to $415. That's an exorbitant price to pay for something that doesn't work very well and also gives me stomach problems. After doing some research, I found that there is a generic available. You have to be your own advocate in these situations; neither the drug company nor my neurologist seem to care.

Cambia for Migraine Headache
I've been using this medication for migraines for about two years now, and it has made a huge difference. I used to have three debilitating migraines a month, but now I rarely have one that can't be controlled with the powder. It's easy to carry around, so I always have it with me. If taken immediately upon feeling symptoms, I can usually continue to function and work. I highly recommend it to everyone!
