Baqsimi Toxicity & Overdose RiskSymptoms of glucagon overdose include nausea, vomiting, slowed digestion, high blood pressure and heart rate, and low levels of potassium in the blood. Blood pressure can be brought under control through the administration of phentolamine. Treatment of overdose is mainly focused on treating the nausea, vomiting, and low potassium levels. The toxic dose for glucagon has been found to be 300mg/kg in mice and 38.6mg/kg in rats.
