How Zenatane Affects Patients
It is not clearly understood how isotretinoin works in the body.
How Zenatane works in the body
Isotretinoin works by manipulating cells to stop the production of sebum and block pores. It also helps to reduce the size of sebum ducts and make the area less hospitable for acne-causing bacteria. It may also increase immune responses and reduce inflammation. The exact way that it works is not fully understood, but there is some evidence that it interacts with FoxO1, which could explain a lot of its effects.
When to interrupt dosage
The recommended measure of Zenatane is contingent upon the diagnosed affliction, such as Acne conglobata, Acne Vulgaris and Pregnancy. The dosage varies as per the technique of delivery (e.g. Capsule - Oral or Capsule) displayed in the table beneath.

Zenatane Toxicity & Overdose Risk
Overdosing on Isotretinoin can cause vomiting, facial flushing, cracked lips, abdominal pain, headache, dizziness, and lack of coordination. Children may experience toxicity with doses as low as 30mg/kg, while men and women may experience it with 24mg/kg and 56mg/kg respectively. In animal studies, Isotretinoin has been linked to an increased risk of cancer and abnormal growth in the adrenal glands when taken in high doses. It has also been associated with testicular atrophy in dogs. No effects were seen in humans on sperm count or other reproductive measures.
