I tried the generic form of this medication, and it was completely ineffective. I could tell no difference whatsoever after taking it as directed. My husband then got me the name brand version, and within minutes I felt a world of difference. If you can afford it, always go for the name brand version!

While this medication is mild, I did find that it caused some light drowsiness and congestion relief. However, after a week of taking it I started to feel depressed and had nightmares. Given the light nature of this drug, the side effects are not worth it in my opinion.

Helped with my allergies, but caused some serious sleeping issues like terrible nightmares and fatigue during the day. Also seemed to mess with my kidneys, as I was having dark urine and needing to urinate more frequently. Overall, the side effects were just too much for me to continue taking this medication.

I had a really terrible experience with this medication. After taking it for a month, I started having vertigo, pressure and pain in my ears, blurred vision, and tinnitus. I could barely stand because I was so dizzy. When I went to the ENT and eye doctor, they said everything was fine. But after looking up the side effects of the medicine, it fit perfectly. So I stopped taking it and finally a week later all my symptoms went away.
