Effectiveness

How Gynazole-1 Affects Patients

Butoconazole is an antifungal medication that is effective against the fungus Candida albicans which is the main cause of vaginal yeast infections. Studies have shown that it has a fungicidal effect against Candida spp. in laboratory tests.

How Gynazole-1 works in the body

Butoconazole works by inhibiting the production of an important steroid in fungi. This stops them from making the right kind of lipids to form a healthy cell membrane. Without that, the cells can't survive, leading to their death or growth inhibition.

Gynazole-1 for Yeast Infection of Vagina and Vulva

Though I wasn't thrilled about the leakage after insertion, the product did work within an hour to lessen my symptoms. Since this was my first yeast infection, I don't have much to compare it to; however, from what I experienced, I would recommend this medication.

Gynazole-1 for Yeast Infection of Vagina and Vulva

I was really disappointed that the medication began to leak out only 30 minutes after my doctor inserted it. I don't know if there's enough left in me to do any good. It seems like we should be able to rely on these treatments more than we can.

Note that this medication is designed to be used at night so you don't have to worry about leakage during the day. I found it effective and my symptoms were gone within a few days.

Gynazole-1 for Yeast Infection of Vagina and Vulva

I got a terrible headache about half an hour after using this, and it didn't go away until the early hours of the morning. I can't say it's been effective against yeast infection symptoms though.
