Effectiveness

How Prosom Affects Patients

Estazolam is a type of medical drug that can help with sleep, muscle relaxation, and seizure prevention. It is usually taken in oral form and has been found to be more potent than other drugs used for the same purposes, such as diazepam and nitrazepam.

How Prosom works in the body

Benzodiazepines work by attaching to certain receptors in the body, which then helps relax muscles, stops seizures, and improves memory. This effect is believed to be linked to GABA receptors. When benzodiazepines are present, they make it easier for GABA to bind to these receptors, which prevents the nerve cells from being overstimulated. This calming effect helps relieve symptoms.

Prosom for Chronic Trouble Sleeping

I've been using this treatment for years with great success. I work nights and have to switch back and forth between days, and this medication helps me immensely. I don't feel drugged when I wake up and there are no side effects that I have experienced.

Prosom for Severe Trouble Sleeping

I used this over 10 years ago for insomnia and it worked well, so I want to try it again now that my problem has become more severe. It can make you feel sluggish, so just be aware of that if you need to leave the house early in the morning.

Prosom for Severe Trouble Sleeping

I take 4mg at night. It has a pretty slow onset like Valume but if you take it with an antihistamine (Vistral or Diphenhydramine) it will make it come hit faster and harder. Just run it by your doctor first as these medications are OTC.

Prosom for Severe Trouble Sleeping

I've been taking this medication for a few months now. I originally took the full pill, but found that it made me feel drugged in the morning, so I switched to half a pill. It's affordable and doesn't have any of the side effects that ambien did.

Prosom for Severe Trouble Sleeping

This is an effective treatment, but only in the short term. I've tried many medications for my insomnia and this is by far the best one.

I haven't started taking this yet, but as a seizure patient with severe insomnia, I really need to know if it's safe for me.

Prosom for Severe Trouble Sleeping

I had been taking 3mg for a while and it did the job well, but now I'm feeling drowsy during the day. After reading some other reviews, it seems like I'm not the only one experiencing this side effect. Lowering my dose may be my only option.

Prosom for Severe Trouble Sleeping

ProSom does help me fall back asleep once I've woken up in the middle of the night, which is great. However, it doesn't keep me asleep and I'm often wake up one or two times a night. Additionally, it takes a while for the medication to actually kick in and start working.

This benzo was really tough to get off of and not worth the trouble, in my opinion.
