How Diprolene Af Affects PatientsCorticosteroids act on the body's glucocorticoid receptor to reduce inflammation signals, while boosting anti-inflammatory signals. Corticosteroids can be taken in high doses, which is usually safe for most patients. However, long-term use can weaken the body's natural defences, making it more susceptible to illnesses and infections.
How Diprolene Af works in the bodyGlucocorticoids, like betamethasone, work to prevent inflammation by blocking inflammation-causing molecules from forming. They also activate anti-inflammatory genes, like interleukin-10. Betamethasone can work through two pathways. The slower, genomic pathway turns on genes to create molecules that help reduce inflammation, while the faster, nongenomic pathway directly alters cells to reduce inflammation.

The magnitude of Diprolene Af is contingent upon the diagnosed affliction, including Ankylosing Spondylitis, Adrenal cortical hypofunctions and Post Surgical Ocular Inflammation.
