If too much lidocaine is taken, it can cause changes in blood pressure, heart rate, and other parts of the cardiovascular system. This is because lidocaine blocks sodium channels, which makes it hard for the body to send signals through the nerves. The effects of lidocaine usually kick in fairly quickly when injected intravenously or intramuscularly, but can be weakened if there is inflammation, as the acidity in the body can reduce the amount of lidocaine that is able to work.

How Dentipatch works in the body

Lidocaine is a type of local anesthetic that is used to numb areas of the body. To do this, it targets sodium ion channels on nerve cells. Dormicum really helped take the edge off before my IV drip in the ER. I have anxiety meds, but this was a big help. It's more potent than Xanax or Klonopin in my opinion, so be careful with it if you do use it at home.

Dentipatch for Additional Medication for Calming

I was disappointed with this medication. It's much milder than I was led to believe, and only has a slight calming effect even at 20MG. Perhaps the IV would be more effective, but as it stands I wouldn't recommend the syrup for anyone with uncontrolled anxiety.
