Effectiveness

How Climara Affects PatientsEstradiol is used to relieve hot flashes, vaginal dryness, and pain during sex. It can also help increase bone density and improve a person's lipid profile. Additionally, it causes the liver to produce more sex hormone binding globulin (SHBG) and thyroid-binding globulin (TBG) and suppresses the formation of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH). However, estradiol can increase the risk of cardiovascular disease, deep vein thrombosis, and stroke in people who are already at high risk. It can also cause a hyper-coagulable state, which is associated
How Climara works in the bodyEstrogen is a hormone found in many parts of the body. In women of childbearing age, most estrogen is produced by the ovaries, but after menopause, this hormone is mostly produced in the adrenal glands. Estrogen binds to two types of receptors in the body, ERα and ERβ, and works by entering the nucleus of cells to regulate gene transcription and cause various effects. After menopause, higher levels of estrogen can cause hot flashes, chills, vaginal dryness, mood swings, irregular menstruation, and sleep problems. The hormone works to help relieve these symptoms by increasing its pro-estrogen

Climara for "Change of Life" Signs
This patch quickly and effectively helped with my menopause symptoms. I've been using it for two years now with great results. The only downside is that I sometimes experience bloating, but the relief from other symptoms is well worth it.

Climara for Low Estrogen After Operation to Remove Ovaries
I've been on this medication for 19 years, and have tried to go off of it several times. Each time, I experience terrible hot sweats, no sex drive, and become unbearable irritable. I'm back on the medication and don't plan on stopping again.

Climara for Low Estrogen After Operation to Remove Ovaries
I've been using this treatment for 25 years and it's really helped me. I tried to wean myself off of it, but the hot flashes were too much to bear. Cutting the patch in half and applying it weekly has helped a lot.

Climara for Low Estrogen After Operation to Remove Ovaries
I've been using this for 15 years and it's still great! If you have trouble keeping the patch on, try washing the area with a non-oil soap (like Ivory) and make sure to dry it before applying. This has helped me a lot.
