Effectiveness

How Blisovi Fe 1.5/30 Affects PatientsEthinylestradiol is a synthetic form of estrogen that helps reduce the hormones that cause ovulation and the growth of the uterus lining. It is taken once a day and is generally considered to be a safe drug with few side effects. However, patients should be warned of the risk of blood clots forming while taking this drug.
How Blisovi Fe 1.5/30 works in the bodyEthinylestradiol is a synthetic estrogen that causes a number of changes in the body, including reduced bone density. It is used in combined oral contraceptives to suppress ovulation and prevent fertilized eggs from implanting in the uterus. Ethinylestradiol also decreases luteinizing hormone, which reduces the blood flow in the endometrium, and increases sex hormone binding globulin.

Blisovi Fe 1.5/30 for Endometriosis
I've been using this birth control for over 2 years now. It has reduced my 7-9 day long periods to only 4-5 days. Significantly less bleeding during periods, and way less painful than before. The weight gain and mood swings are unfortunate side effects; however, they are worth it in the end. I would recommend this medication to others, but just note that with any new birth control you take, the first few months can be uncomfortable as your body adjusts.
