Effectiveness
How Bepreve Affects PatientsBepotastine is a medication that blocks the effects of histamine, a chemical that affects your body's immune system. It is a type of drug called a mast cell stabilizer and helps reduce inflammation and eosinophil movement in the body. Bepotastine does not cause the same side effects as other medications, such as dry mouth or drowsiness. It takes about a quarter of an hour to start working, and lasts up to 24 hours.
How Bepreve works in the bodyBepotastine treats itchy eyes caused by allergies. It works by blocking histamine, which is released when an allergen is present, from triggering an allergic reaction. It also helps to stabilize the cells which release histamine, and prevent additional cells from coming to the site of the allergic reaction, thus reducing inflammation and irritation.

Bepreve Reviews: What are patients saying about Bepreve?
5Patient Review
3/21/2011 This drop is the only thing that has worked for my crazy itchy eyes this weekend ! Get the big bottle as my insurance company was charging me the same for a bottle half the size. Hope this stuff works just as good as the allergy season rolls in !
5Patient Review
12/17/2012 Though very costly, this medication is like magic for me. It immediately relieves my allergies and I don't need to take other medications as frequently.
5Patient Review
7/15/2011 This stuff is really great! By 8 PM, my vision was significantly improved. I only wish it wasn't so expensive.
5Patient Review
9/5/2015 Bepreve cleared up my eyes within a week and I had no side effects!
4.3Patient Review
10/24/2012 My allergy doctor told me these were good, but he should have told me they were MAGIC. I have had terrible eye allergies the past 6 weeks with intense itching and burning pain. I used two other drops that did nothing. I have used this for 3 days and it's like I have a new set of eyeballs. No more itching, burning, or pain. I'm a fan. Even though the drops are outrageously priced, ask your doctor for samples and a coupon before you buy them--I got both of which really helped financially.
