Xhance Toxicity & Overdose RiskNot enough research has been done to know the effects of fluticasone propionate on specific populations. Generally, it has not been linked to cancer, mutations, or chromosomal changes. However, it has been found to cause birth defects in rats when given by injection and may suppress growth in infants when given through breast milk. Elderly patients may be more sensitive to side effects, and those with liver disease should be monitored closely. There is no difference in how fluticasone propionate is cleared from the body based on gender or race.
