Effectiveness

How Phentermine Hydrochloride Affects PatientsPhentermine is used to suppress appetite, which may be caused by the increase of the hormone leptin. It has been found to help people lose an average of 3.6 kilograms over a period of 2-24 weeks. In addition, the effects of phentermine continue even after the treatment is stopped. It is not known to have any effects on the central nervous system, blood pressure, or heart rate like amphetamine drugs.
How Phentermine Hydrochloride works in the bodyPhentermine works by increasing the amount of noradrenaline in a certain area of the brain. This increases the activity of certain receptors and creates a "flight-or-fight" response, which reduces hunger signals. It may also reduce the production of a hormone called neuropeptide Y, which is linked to hunger. Phentermine also weakly inhibits monoamine oxidase, but this doesn't have a significant effect.

This medicine has been really effective for me. It's helped me control my hunger and I've been able to cut down on the amount I eat at each meal by 66%. In one month, I've lost 20 pounds and 4 inches off my waist. The only side effect I've noticed is that I get a dry mouth, but it's not a big deal since I always have water with me.

Phentermine Hydrochloride for Overweight
For the first few weeks, this treatment was highly effective. However, it stopped working after that point and also caused some nasty side effects like yeast infections and UTIs.

Phentermine Hydrochloride for Weight Loss Management for Overweight Person with BMI 27 to 29 and Weight-Related Comorbidity
While this pill did help me lose weight, it also caused some serious emotional side effects. I was constantly out of control and once I stopped taking the pill, I gained all the weight back within two weeks. Not worth it in my opinion.

I was taking 15 mgs for 4 weeks and was increased to 30 for the last 3 weeks. I do not notice much of a decrease in appetite or increase in energy levels. I havent lost any weight. Im 53 so it may have something to do with my hormones but I m overall disappointed

Phentermine Hydrochloride for Weight Loss Management for an Obese Person
I stopped taking this medication after two weeks because I noticed an increase in my anxiety levels. However, within just a few days of stopping the medication, I began dealing with depression and panic attacks worse than ever before.

Phentermine Hydrochloride for Weight Loss Management for Overweight Person with BMI 27 to 29 and Weight-Related Comorbidity
I saw some great results in the beginning, but then around the fourth week things took a turn. I was really struggling with anxiety and my mood swings were so bad that it started affecting my job. Once I stopped taking this medication, the weight came back. So for me, it wasn't worth it.
