How Fluoxymesterone Affects Patients

Fluoxymesterone is a man-made version of the male hormone testosterone. It attaches to androgen receptors which triggers reactions in cells that involve the making of proteins. These proteins can cause a variety of effects, such as preventing the growth of some types of breast cancer, promoting male characteristics, and producing red blood cells.

How Fluoxymesterone works in the body

Fluoxymesterone is a powerful synthetic steroid. It is similar to testosterone and works by binding to the androgen receptor. It helps your body retain nitrogen, sodium, potassium, and phosphorus, which helps build muscle. It can also help reduce levels of estrogen and prolactin in the body, which can have an anti-tumor effect.

When to interrupt dosage

The proposed measure of Fluoxymesterone hinges upon the diagnosed condition, including Pituitary gonadotropin hypofunction, Puberty, Delayed and Hypergonadotropic Hypogonadism. The dosage may differ, in accordance with the method of delivery (e.g. Tablet or Tablet - Oral) shown in the following table.

Leflutrozole for Hypogonadotropic Hypogonadism

18 - 49
Male
Garden City, NY

The goal of this clinical trial is to evaluate three doses of the drug leflutrozole on improvement of semen quality in men with hypogonadotropic hypogonadism, a condition that affects hormone levels and fertility. It will also study the safety of leflutrozole. The main questions it aims to answer are: * Does leflutrozole improve semen quality? * What medical problems do participants experience when taking leflutrozole? Researchers will compare leflutrozole to a placebo (a look-alike substance that contains no drug). Participants will: * Take leflutrozole or a placebo orally once a week for 16 weeks. * Visit the clinic every 4 weeks for checkups and tests. * Provide semen samples to measure changes in semen quality. * Have their blood tested to measure hormone levels and ensure safety. * Be monitored for any side effects.
