11/17/2019 I was prescribed this medication 16 years ago and it became less effective over time; however, by then I was addicted. This drug is meant for short-term use (1-2 weeks) but my doctors kept me on it much longer. Now I can't get off of it and the withdrawal symptoms are awful. If you can avoid taking this medication, do yourself a favor and don't start.
