Effectiveness

How Clindamycin Phosphate And Benzoyl Peroxide Affects PatientsBenzoyl peroxide is a medication used to treat acne. It works by breaking down the existing acne and increasing the rate at which skin cells are replaced. It is generally considered safe, although it can cause skin irritation, dryness, and sunburn. Patients should be aware of these potential side effects and take precautions to avoid them.
How Clindamycin Phosphate And Benzoyl Peroxide works in the bodyAcne is caused by an overproduction of sebum, hormones, and bacteria in the skin. Benzoyl peroxide works to reduce acne by breaking down bacteria, decreasing the amount of sebum, and speeding up the turnover rate of skin cells. This helps to reduce the formation of comedones (whiteheads and blackheads).

Clindamycin Phosphate And Benzoyl Peroxide for Acne
I had moderate acne that this treatment quickly helped clear up. Within a week, my skin was almost completely free of blemishes and hyperpigmentation. The only downside is that it can dry out your skin; however, using a quality moisturizer should fix that problem.

Clindamycin Phosphate And Benzoyl Peroxide for Acne
Will continue to work as long as you keep using it. I stopped for a week and only used it for spot treatments because it was making my face dry when applied all over, but this led to the product no longer preventing acne. In conclusion: use regularly for best results and consider using a lotion if you experience dry skin.
