Effectiveness
How Doxy 100 Affects Patients
Doxycycline, like other tetracyclines, stops bacteria from growing by blocking the production of proteins they need. It is effective against a variety of different bacteria and can easily pass through cell membranes. Doxycycline also helps to treat parasites and reduce inflammation in certain skin conditions.
How Doxy 100 works in the body
Doxycycline works by stopping the bacteria from making proteins it needs to survive and function. It does this by binding to the ribosomal subunit and blocking the adding of amino acids to mRNA. Doxycycline also reduces inflammation by preventing calcium-dependent microtubular assembly and lymphocytic proliferation, as well as inhibiting nitric oxide synthase, which is an enzyme that produces an inflammatory signaling molecule.
When to interrupt dosage
The measure of Doxy 100 is dependent on the determined condition, such as Urethritis, Chlamydia trachomatis and Respiratory Tract Infections. The amount of dosage is contingent upon the technique of delivery (e.g. Capsule or Syrup - Oral) as outlined in the table beneath.
